Great Muslim Scientists: Al-Kashi Book chronicles the life of Ghiyath al-Din Jamshid al-Kashi, the Persian mathematician and astronomer whose work in trigonometry, computational methods, and astronomical observation represented the pinnacle of Islamic mathematical science. His innovations in calculating pi to unprecedented precision and his practical contributions to observational astronomy made him one of the most accomplished scholars of his era and an enduring influence on mathematical tradition.

This book explores how al-Kashi's precise calculations and theoretical advances supported both practical astronomy and pure mathematical inquiry, demonstrating the interconnection between theory and application. Ideal for students and educators, it reveals a mind of extraordinary rigour whose legacy bridges the Islamic Golden Age and the emergence of modern science, offering readers a window into the sophistication of medieval Islamic scholarship.
